Master movements fundamental to the age-old dance and tune into the beat of the drums with the famous master Ha Kwok Cheung Dragon & Lion Dance Group, a longstanding partner of The Peninsula Hong Kong since 1978. There is little that can match the energy of this lively, auspicious tradition to get you in the festive spirit.
A beloved, local game now known and enjoyed worldwide; the art of hand-carving mahjong tiles is a traditional technique with time-honoured history. Design and engrave your very own unique tiles with master So Kwok Hung for a special memento of the fruitful time in Hong Kong.
As one of the oldest existing needlework techniques, Chinese embroidery can be seen as intricate, wearable art. With this workshop, you’ll be able to embroider your own work led by master Miru Wong, the third-generation owner of a 63-year-old embroidery shoe shop that is one of the few remaining in the city.
Terms and conditions apply. All experiences and workshops are available on selected dates, offered on a first-come first-serve basis and are subject to availability.
