The iconic Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is staging a calendar of culinary adventures from internationally acclaimed 2 Michelin Stars chefs from its sister properties from around the world in celebration of the hotel’s 60th Anniversary.

Chef Director, Deiniol Pritchard, is skilled at presenting Heston’s reimagination of Britain’s culinary heritage, allowing guests to enjoy historic dishes dating back to the 14th century. Each of these crafted creations showcases a manifestation of Heston Blumenthal’s multi-sensory approach to cooking.
The specially curated menu aims to surprise, enlighten and delight guests through its rich storytelling, quality ingredients and impeccable service. Guests can expect a signature fanfare including the renowned Meat Fruit (c.1500), whilst it appears to be a Mandarin, the dish is a cleverly disguised chicken liver parfait inspired by the traditional medieval dish called Pome Dorres or “apples of gold”.
Beef Royale (1821), a lavish dish that was once presented to George IV (1821) at his Coronation, demonstrating its British gastronomic heritage through high quality fillet of beef, calf’s tongue and anchovy bound in a rich red wine and steak sauce infused with parsley tarragon and chervil.
Commanding Victoria Harbour views, enjoy the entertainment system and king-size bed. The bathroom has two basins, walk-in shower and separate bathtub. Guests will have exclusive access to The Mandarin Club.
The celebratory feast was kickstarted by the Italian culinary masterpieces presented by Chef Antonio Guida from Seta, Mandarin Oriental, Milan. Followed by French maestro Chef Alain Roux from Two-Michelin-Stars Le Normandie by Alain Roux. Both of these exceptional dining experiences have been met with great success.
