    Chef Alain Roux will stage his debut exclusively at Mandarin Grill + Bar this July

    The legendary Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is staging a calendar of culinary adventures from internationally acclaimed 2 Stars Michelin chefs from its sister properties from around the world in celebration of the hotel’s 60th Anniversary.

    As a Cathay member, you are invited to join us for this celebratory partnership and enjoy an exquisite lunch or dinner specifically curated by Chef Alain Roux.

    Discover French haute cuisine rooted in heritage, mastery and passion by world-acclaimed Chef Alain Roux.  Hailed from The Waterside Inn, UK the only restaurant in the world outside of France to have retained 3 Michelin stars since 1985, and the 2 Stars Michelin Le Normandie at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, Chef Alain Roux will be staging his debut at Mandarin Grill + Bar from 12 - 15 July.

    Event Date: 12 - 15 July 2023 
    Time: 12:00nn - 2:00pm (HKT) for lunch / 6:00pm - 9:00pm (HKT) for dinner 

    Package includes: 

    • One-night stay in City View Room or Harbour View Suite
    • 5-course set lunch or 7-course set dinner at Mandarin Grill + Bar (Vegetarian options available)

    About Chef Alain Roux

    Rising from a lineage of culinary luminaries, chef Alain Roux spent remarkable 38 years at the helm of acclaimed The Waterside Inn in Berkshire, England, the only French restaurant outside of France to ever receive 3 Michelin stars and maintain this long-running recognition to this day. Taking over the institutional fine-dining restaurant Le Normandie, of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok in 2021 which has held 2 Michelin stars since 2018.

    In celebration of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s 60th Anniversary, embark on an elevated Michelin dining experiences by esteemed chefs from overseas. We have successfully introduced the gastronomic experience in May with Chef Antonio Guida from Seta restaurant of Mandarin Oriental, Milan. 

    Continue the starry journey with our next guest chef, Deiniol Pritchard of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal from Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London in September.
